Hello…
A little background. I was a doll collector, turned teddy bear collector, turned artist. It just happened, and I am certain some of you can agree with the “just happened”.Through selling my miniature kits I met my dear friend Cindy who was/is a miniature bear artist/miniaturist.
A friendship was formed and all of a sudden I was intrigued with miniature bears. Cindy and I began exchanging bears at Christmas and I was falling head over heels for miniatures.
From there I found Cynthia Howe Miniatures and began taking her online classes. It began with her Mad Hatters Club, beautiful hats from the Victorian and Edwardian era. I was hooked. Currently Cynthia has a “Quilt Of The Month” class, beautiful embroidered miniature quilts to make. www.cynthiahoweminiatures.com
And, once again, through the love for miniatures a wonderful friendship was beginning.
I have my Grandparents old mantel clock and because it was beyond repair gathered dust for many years in the attic. My husband removed the face, did some “facelifting” and I am just finishing “A Moment In Time”. It is a Quarter Scale “mouse house”, at Christmas time. The clock face is the door that will be hinged, opening there will be the family’s gathering room, with Christmas tree (of course) a dining area and a staircase up to the loft. Check back soon, I will have pictures in my private collection.
And that brings me to the present.
