My Miniature Collection

Edwardian Travel Outfit

This was my very first attempt at miniature clothing. It was offered as an online class by Cynthia Howe @ www.cynthiahoweminiatures.com

Hanover Roadside Stand

Growing up in New Jersey every Sunday afternoon we would take my Grandparents for a ride. In the fall we always stopped at the Hanover Roadside Stand to buy fall apples.

My dear friend Cindy in Colorado sent me this wooden structure and I immediately remembered those Sunday drives and the little roadside stand.

Winter Woodland Christmas

The Gazebo is 1 /12″ scale. I used latex brick sheets
for the flooring, and a mix of Sea Salt and Kosher
Salt for “snow”. The tree is an 8″ make your own
and I used little LED lights and to scale Cardinals
on the branches.

The trains are working (electrical) z scale trains.
A snow scene back drop and fiberfill for snow
finishes off this project. I found a snowman
and deer to carry out the “woodland” theme.

My Toy Shoppe

The Toy Shoppe I designed in 2009. I had a large collection of
my miniature bears and needed to find a place to keep them so
I decided on a room box. The furniture I purchased, wallpapered
the walls, laid oak flooring & painted the baseboards white. I
included a back door for some interest.

My bears range in size, Libby (sitting in the lower left on the floor)
is the smallest, 1.5″ & the tallest is The Shoppe Keeper at 4″ tall.
